Paralegal / Calendar Clerk
The position requires strong knowledge of legal docket calendaring and the ability to interpret civil rules of procedure in NY State (NJ/PA a plus). Candidates must be professional and have excellent communication skills.

Manage Court Calendar (Conferences, Motions, EBTs) for 30 attorneys
Schedule and confirm EBTs pursuant to litigation guidelines
Prepare weekly firm-wide calendar
Schedule and facilitate weekly firm-wide calendar meeting
Engage with opposing parties and court personnel
Source and verify case information
Enter appointments and data into the calendar software with speed and accuracy
Reserve court reporters, interpreters, and conference rooms
Monitor busy email inbox for calendar appointments and modifications
Monitor email inbox for internal personnel calendar requests
Schedule personnel/new-hire interviews as necessary
Be able to efficiently multitask and prioritize work quickly
Remain organized and acutely focused on details
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a comparable position in a law firm is required.
Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel, as well as eLaw, eCourts, NYSCEF.
Strong working knowledge of NJ eCourts, or willingness to learn.
