Scott R. Singer focuses his practice on the defense of hospitals, nursing homes, and physicians in complex medical matters. He takes pride in zealously representing medical professionals from inception through all phases of pre-trial discovery.

Prior to joining Sheeley, Scott worked for medical malpractice defense firms on Long Island and Manhattan, where he defended physicians and two major New York City hospitals in complex medical matters.

Scott received his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law where he participated in the Trial Techniques Program and clerked part-time for lawyers specializing in education, employment discrimination, and labor law, as well as personal injury and medical malpractice defense. Prior to law school, Scott graduated cum laude from SUNY Binghamton with a B.A. in Political Science and English. As an undergraduate, he reviewed submissions for the Harpur Palate graduate publication and was a disc jockey for the school radio station WHRW.

In his spare time, Scott enjoys working out, playing guitar and studying music theory.
