Elyse S. Schindel has nearly fifteen years of litigation experience, including extensive experience defending insurance companies and their insureds, specializing in general liability and professional liability in New York and New Jersey.

Elyse is an accomplished litigator defending professional clientele, including lawyers, appraisers, and real estate professionals. Elyse also has experience defending insurance companies and their insureds in general liability matters, employment matters, construction matters, and class action litigation involving the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

Elyse believes that any litigation requires a comprehensive and collaborative approach with clients, forming an open line of communication in order to defend matters more efficiently and towards its best resolution.

Prior to Sheeley LLP, Eylse began her career with a judicial clerkship in Monmouth County Superior Court.  Followed by  a small firm, practicing criminal defense and plaintiff’s personal injury. then she worked for national and regional defense firms, defending and work directly with clients (corporations, attorneys, and professionals) in general liability, professional malpractice (legal, architects, engineers), construction, class action (including Telephone Consumer Protection Act) claims.
