Charles Weitman represents hospitals, nursing homes, social service agencies, property and facility management companies, and fitness facilities in premises liability cases. He also defends insureds in automobile negligence and school supervision cases.

Before joining Sheeley, Charles worked for a respected Manhattan defense firm where he represented many of the same companies he still defends today. Earlier in his career, Charles successfully defended the facility management company of Three World Financial Center in 220 World Trade Center litigation cases brought by asbestos handlers in the aftermath of September 11, 2001.

Charles lives in Forest Hills, NY with his wife, who is a practicing psychologist, and their two children. Charles is a progressive rock drummer who has played in a wide range of musical settings since the age of nine.

Charles created “Pochecko-the Poker Based Strategy Board Game”, a board game inspired by his two favorite games, Chess and Texas hold’em poker, which was awarded a “seal of approval” by the National Parenting Center. Charles is also a two-time Spartan “Trifecta” medal recipient.
